Howard Hughes and his crew successfully completed a record flight around the world in 91 hours, 14 minutes, 10 seconds in Hughes' Lockheed Super Electra. In this photo, a large crowd is seen gathered to greet the aircraft after the completion of the flight which had begun on July 10, 1938.
